A graduate with distinction, from Indiana University, Pamela Smitson has achieved success in her career in public accounting of over thirteen years. Currently in the position of Manager at Whitinger & Company LLC, Pam’s primary responsibilities include corporate, partnership, individual, and exempt organization tax planning and preparation. Pam’s professional memberships include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Indiana CPA Society. She is also a past president, of the American Society of Women Accountants and is the Assistant Treasurer of Women in Business Unlimited, Inc. She is an alumnus of The Academy for Community Leadership and LEAD-ECI. Her community service organizations include past chair of Girl Scouts of Wapehani Council, Inc. and member of the merger board of five central Indiana councils, forming Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, Inc. Pam also volunteers as a Wish Grantor for Make a Wish of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana; is a member of the local American Heart Association board of directors; serves as a board member for Muncie Ballet, Inc, and is a Girl Scout Daisy troop leader.
