Speaker Amy Irving, Sales & Event Manager at Horizon Convention Center, is more than qualified to guide the planning of your business or personal event. Amy has been with Horizon Convention Center for 3 years is responsible for coordinating most of the weddings and not-for-profit monthly events. Amy also helps coordinate all of the Chamber of Commerce events.
Amy has lived in Muncie for 21 years. She attended Ball State University where she studied elementary education. She owned and managed a retail computer store for over 10 years and understands the many aspects of running a business from managing and training employees to advertising and marketing.
Amy lives in Muncie with her husband and 3 daughters and enjoys golfing and spending time with her family.
The Horizon Convention Center is an innovative mix of historic beauty and modern design. Formerly Muncie’s Federal Building, the Horizon Convention Center’s beauty is evident in the glass-enclosed pavilion, outdoor terrace and the classical splendor of the lobby’s original interior. A 1996 expansion increased the facility’s meeting space to 47,000 square feet.
