Mindset Matters with Julie Short and Kyndra Haggard

Does life happen “to you” or “for you”? While we cannot control all aspects of our daily lives, we do have the power and the opportunity to control how we react. Join Kyndra Haggard and Julie Short to learn more about mindset and why it matters.

Julie Short

Julie Short is the Associate Director of Data, Operations and Technology in the Ball State University Career Center. As a member of leadership team, she provides strategic insight into programs, processes, systems, and office culture. Julie tracks and evaluates engagement data, which is used strategically to make data-informed decisions in the Career Center. In this role, Julie also manages the On-Campus Student Employment team, which provides the opportunity to engage students in over 5000 on-campus jobs.

Julie is driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for empowering women. She is building a business online through social media and is coaching others to do the same. Her newest venture is creating and launching a podcast called Momnesia. Julie enjoys ice cream, succulents, mid-century modern architecture, and spending time with her family. For you enneagram lovers, she is a 8w7.

Kyndra Haggard

Kyndra Haggard is an Assistant Director at the Ball State University Career Center. Her passion lies in helping students find prepare for and start their future of success.
She is a two-time graduate of Ball State with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Adult and Community Education.

Kyndra loves spending time with her son, Knox, and husband, Spencer, on their family farm where they raise Registered Angus show cattle and farm. She enjoys running and competing in 5k’s. Her joy of meeting new people and working with the community lead her to joining WIBU in 2014.
