“Bringing Your Authentic Self to Work: The Pleasures and Perils”

Most of us spend a significant part of our day at work.  Research indicates a large percentage of people leave some of who they are at home.  What would happen if you brought all of you to work?  Should you bring all of you to work?  Come explore the idea of the “authentic you” with Kirsten Smith.

Kirsten is the Associate Director, Technology Officer and leads of the Women Working in Technology initiative at the Center for Information and Communication Sciences (CICS) at Ball State University. She has been thinking about the challenge of being genuine at work and wants to share what she has and is learning about the pleasures and perils of being your authentic self.
